Does anyone know what the original MSP on the 81 CX500 Custom was?

Nope, but I can tell you what I paid back on July 6th 1979 for a '79 CX500 Deluxe (I still have my sales rcpt) $2,495. I think that was a bit less than MSRP. But it gives you a ball park. Someone else might know exactly.

1980 CX500 Custom had a MSRP of $2498.00



I don't think there was a price increase for the 1981 model.



The 1983 CX650 Custom had a MSRP of $2598.00. I'd be willing to bet the price for the '81 was the same as the '80 CX500C.
