I have a 79 cx500 that runs nice to 2000 rpm then rt side stumbles and wont go ,pull plug wire lt side runs up to 9000 on its own ,rt side wont go up over 2000 on its own,going to switch yellow and pink coil wires seif it switches sides ,carbs in sync and clean and no problems there ,plug cap? coil? cdi ignitech may be on the way. thanks for the very good forum to have all the info available to research problems and other info not found anywhere but here.Thanks!!!

While first is the coil switch. If that works it's the coil or plug cap.

If it's the carbs then spraying starting fluid or a similar combustible in an idling bikes air box will eliminate the carb problem if the engine rushes.



If it's not the coil or the carb it could be the right side insides of the cdi. The ignitech is one hell of a device and I like mine.
