Ok finally these are the plugs 1980 Honda cx500 new plugs 135 miles on them. left carb seems fine right carb running rich any help guys would be great she rolls the highways fines idles a little rough but other than that seems ok... thanks

its kind of hard to see but they look the same to me

Yes they do look the same,this was about one carb running richer then the other forgot to post it in the last topic i made duh! silly of me will post there too

ok as far as i remember if they carbs were running differentially the color of the plugs would not be the same as it is in the pic they are the same color so i dont think that the carbs are running rich but maybe i am wrong i had this problem once turned out to be the petcock rubbers were shot i replaced them and all was good why not start there

Buffalo, try taking another picture so that the plugs are laying in exactly the same position, and with nothing in the background to draw the camera focus to the other objects. It is too hard to see what you are seeing otherwise.

they look the same to me hell mine were a lot worse when i put new plugs in last year i think everything is good maybe a carb cleaning is in order

What kind of gas mileage are you getting?  They both look a little on the rich side to me.  You can't really tell from smelling the exhaust since they mix in the Hbox (unless you've modified yours).

well that has the 4,8 gallon tank and i got 135 miles filled up with about 1/2 gallon left
