Hi just did an oil and filter change. after putting in 2.5Lts of oil it is only just on the dip stick.

Where is the level meant to be i understand its at the top of the XXXX bit

Anyone know how much oil between the bottom of the stick and the start of the XXX and the top of the XXX?

It doesn't take much to go from the tip of the stick to the other end. Add slowly and check often.

Check the oil level with the bike level (on the centerstand is good) and without threading the dipstick in. Anywhere between the ADD and FULL lines is okay, but I like to start out near the FULL line.

I think its half a litre. But, as said, anywhere on the XXXX is fine.

And yes, its a dip stick not a screw in stick.
