Hi,

Got a new problem where my oil filter cover is hitting my exhaust pipe when attempting to remove it. I can barely get it out. This hasn't happened before. I've barely ridden the bike since the last time I changed the oil so I'm at a loss to understand what could have happened to shift my pipe. Any ideas?

If its a 2into1...have a similar issue.
If you gentley rotate the housing a few degrees when backing off the bolt it seems to cure it...the fin just touches the header....rotating a few degrees cures it...

Ill add if you feel resistance when undoing the bolt STOP and again holding the housing while using a short spanner/socket bar gives u feel....&seems to cure it...
Long term shimming the mounts may help...depending on which side of the bike the muffler exits..

Rereading your original thread... if this issue is NEW....maybe exhaust gaskets need replacing or the system needs retorquing
