My Dad had a '71 CL350. I think they were pretty much all the same machine, except the CL had the high "scrambler" exhaust system. I rode the hell out of it, and so did Pop. Ran nice, for it's size - good low end pull, as I recall. As I remember, it had a high frequency vibration, or "buzz" through the bars and pegs - that would get slightly annoying after an hour or so at highway speeds. No biggie - it was not intended to be a long haul tourer, anyways.
No big maintenance issues. It was a little cold hearted (typical) on cool mornings, and probably a little heavier than it needed to be. We always kept it in a good state of tune, but around 80mph was about all it had to give with the stock gearing. Overall - a nice, reliable, little piece - typical Honda. Never left us stuck. If it's cheap enough - I'd buy it.
