Hi,

'79 CX500c

New plugs and plug caps.

Coils tested good.

Disconnected kill-switch relay.

Disconnected stator.

CDI resistance values are within spec. (for what thats worth).

Stator resistance values are a little high (~1.4ohms), but I attribute that partially to a cheap multimeter.

Jumped battery off of car battery (not running).

What voltage should I be getting from the CDI to the coils?

Any other suggestions?

I'm hoping to find a reasonably priced used CDI to do a real test with.

Thanks.

Actually, retested CDI the right way (CDI side as opposed to engine) and got very high values.

So I suspect this is the culprit.

Anyone looking to unload a spare?

I'll check buying and selling forum as well.
