everything works except the stuff in the instrument panel, neutral light, oil light work, speedometer works but the boost gage, tack, fuel and temp gage do not. ???? All fuses are good.

This check means that you will have to take the fairing off - not an easy job to do on your own without the risk of marking/scraping some of the paintwork or the front fork anodising.

Check the mating of the small, brown 7 pin connector in the connector-group-aperture plate on the upper LHS of the wiring behind the instrument panel.

The temp, tacho, fuel and boost gauges all get their signal through that connector.

Take the connector apart, clean its two parts (male and female), give it some dielectric grease, and re-connect it - should cure your problem.

If it wasn't pushed together properly, just put some of the grease on and push the two parts SOLIDLY together.

Don, thanks for the advice. I took off the upper fairing above the headlight and was amazed to find a cable support to hold it in place, took out the headlight and found the connector you were adressing loose. Popped it back togeather and all is good. My son had it out and tought he did something. He is amazed at how comfortable and smooth it is.

Nope, nw ohio. I was pleasantly surprised to find an aftermarket shock and the stator done and every thing works. Not perfect but having fun.
