Hi, searched forum for answers to this and couldn’t seem to find a solution. Sorry for posting so soon after joining.

I’ve got a cx that had destroyed a valve and chewed up a piston so have rebuilt the engine. It’s all back together now and won’t start.

I’ve got a good battery, I’ve got spark but no fuel to cylinders. It’s running out the tank fine- early model so no vacuum line to worry about . The carb bowls drain happily but the plugs are dry.

I had the carbs off the other day to clean them but they were spotless. But I cleaned them anyway with car cleaner and air compressor. Any thoughts?

I tried putting a bag over the air intake to see if that would force fuel through the jets but it was blowing rather than sucking...
