Howdy. Doc here in texas. I am an old time biker turned long time pastor. Still ride a harley a i built myself with a hand shift. however, it seems i have acquired a cx500t. A long time friend of mine passed away this week and left it to me. it is all original and kept inside. i previously repaired and sold a silverwing cx. I don't plan to part with this bike as it is a memorial to my departed friend.I would do well to keep it pristine and ride it a limited amount of miles? do these bikes have serious turbo lag?

Are you sure it's a turbo? There are many out there but they are hard to find compared to the other models.

I'll chime in on that.



There are quite a few that cross over from turbo to non turbo but there are a lot of us that don't enter the other groups turf. I don't venture in there but I do like the turbos.

is for sure the one year only one color only turbo bike. i did buy and resell a not turbo version one time. bought it to use for a hack for the wife, but with no subframe, i used an early boxer instead.
