Hello I'm new to the forum! My name is Jessica. I'm on here to get advice and parts because my roommate Peter (on the forum as Padair) and I are going to be re-building 2 bikes this winter (an '80 CX500 Custom and an '82CX Custom). If anyone has advice or wants to chat hit me up.

I just hope that you and your boyfriend realize that you are dealing with two completely different bikes for the most part.



The CX between 80 & 82 are different engines on ignition systems, suspension and several other items.

Haha Peter's not my boyfriend just my friend and roommate. I'm not dating currently. As for the tip on the bikes thanks for the heads up!

hello Jessica and welcome to the forum! you guys are doing the same thing im up to. i just got my first bike and getting her ready to ride for next spring. there is a crap ton of info on this site and the community here is very friendly and willing to help with any question or concern you may have with the bike.
