I just aquired a 1983 cx650 and I think it needs a new cam chain. It sounds just like a video I heard of a cx running with a bad cam chain. My local Honda dealer can get a chain but not an adjuster,gaskets,etc. Where do I go to find parts. All help is appreciated. Thank you, ScottyJ.

Congrats on your purchase and very good luck on finding some parts that can be like finding hens teeth, cam chain adjuster

try cheapcycleparts.com. I used them for my cam chain needs. Even with shipping they were still a hair cheaper than my honda dealership. I took a quick peek and I see that they have a cam chain tensioner for the 650 in stock!!

I'd make sure to try and call them to make sure, I have run into listed parts online being available on the site, where it in fact is not. Check out the main General Discussion section for the "Quick Reference" post, there are some other sites listed there.
