Use the smaller size fuel line but to help it fit the larger carburetor inlet simply heat the end and it will slip right on. Many of the guys use clubman bars without much problem? I would be careful at limiting the amount of steering lock. I swapped front ends and had to make my own steering stop. However when I rode the bike slowly I nearly fell over because of lack of steering lock. Needless to say I re-did the stops allowing for smaller turn radius. Good luck.

No pics sorry it's way too crowded to see. Also I have a non-stick front end, I was merely warning about limiting the steering.
