Ne Sensor

I've been working on a friend's CX650Turbo for a few years now. Thought I was done with it. On a test ride it ran strong, engine feels just as my personal CX650T does. But the Fuel System warning light remains on. The computer shows a code that indicates the Ne sensor is faulty. But there is no useful information in the service manual regarding this sensor other than it is an engine speed sensor. These types of problems are rare I think. Does anyone have any idea where this sensor is located on the motorcycle?

Strange that you are still working for a few years on a turbo without knowing where the NE-sensors are located. If you take some time to search the site you will find your answers.
It took me one minute to find this link. And the info is in the manual on page 24-22. You can also see page 24-4 where there is an explanation for the faults.
Succes

Thank you for the information. I admit I'm embarrassed that I didn't find the information on page 24-22. Brain fade maybe after so long working mostly on cosmetics then thinking the restoration was done only to have the fuel system warning light remain on. I had found the trouble code on page 24-4 that the computer gave me. Thank you again.
