well guys my day started out at 0830 cup of coffee got dressed jumped on the bike and went out to old okies house nice hour ride i was going to clean my stater and just do a bunch of major bsing (which we did) well i found out my side stand was not the right one for my bike it was about 5 to 6 inchs i think (it was really short) so okie has a spare stand installed that on my bike and it stands up nice and tall which is rather nice
my bike "fell" over a couple of weeks ago (i think it fell over with some help with coworkers) because i told them not to touch my bike again (they thought it would be funny to find my bike inside the shop) well two days after that my bike is on its side and whats this both mirrors are busted off (weird i have never seen both mirrors break on a lay over) so i got to walmart and get a bell bicycle handle bar mirror (hey it worked) well okie had a set of mirrors that there just collection dust and the right one was bent pretty bad so we got the mirror straightened out and installed on my bike wow how nice is it to have OEM mirrors (no more vibrations in the mirrors)
and he also let me get a way with a M/C of a 78 (we think) but i have to rebuild it and the last thing i got was a battery box so now i dont have to worry about my battery falling off the bike (i took mine off way back in arizona when i had a different battery that fit really tight and i guess i left it behind)so now then thats all installed i didnt clean the stater (o well) well by this time he had a birth day party to go to (grandson i think) so i donned my gear and started my bike up and headed off to the highway and home another hour ride at speeds around 75 to 80 man bike was running great she seemed to have more power and just wanted to "run" well i get home around 1400 (2 o clock) ahhh what a ride well i took a nap (fell asleep to a thunderstorm)woke up and went to the store and got dinner and now here it is 2240 (1040) and i have been on the forums and i thought i would just let you all know how my day went
it was freaking great!! but i would like to say thank you to old okie once again and okie when you want to start working on your turbo let me know i will lend a hand!! and thanks for the parts man it really made my day
