The weather looks evil
I was riding my BMW as my cxt had a sticky rear brake caliper. The BMW registered 103.4 degrees as the highest outdoor temp on the ride.That was without a doubt the hottest Minnesota Spring Ride and Barbecue on record.
No, seriously! The previous high record for today was 92. It peaked at 99 at the big airport today, and hit 100 at Anoka/Blaine airport.
Was nice to see everyone again!
HMMMM, you had them last night and I actually had them on the Ride. Had to pull off twice to walk them out and drink some water.I had massive leg cramps overnight. Needed to stand up and squat in something like riding position to get any relief.
I was late to the BBQ group photo trying to shake off a charlie horse in my shifting leg.R,
Thanks again for a great ride & family hospitality-altho you may have overcompensated for one of those cold rainy days. I did have a couple light leg cramps after i got home but when you are over 80 it is a good thing-pain means you are still alive! I had left home with 6 miles on tripmeter-refueled at 103- reset to 0 & pulled into home in Mendota Hts reading 102-too lazy to go around the block again to make it even 200. Am hoping someone has photos of the black cx650 -he cut off early-nicest one I have seen.

Dave, I remember at Wyoming stop Randall came by sweating & repeating his mantra of hydrate-you said it seemed to be getting a little cooler & he said that can be a early warning sign-you seemed fine to me & we kinda laughed-maybe it was warning.Leg cramps woke me up at 2 am, could not rub them out, agony, non-stop pain, it was all I could do to crawl to the kitchen and drink water and eat a snack bar, finally got relief after a half hour, and I did not think I was dehydrated, WOW !!!
