Hey guys i know this has been posted somewhere before but I was curious if anyone has tried one of these master cylinders before:

I checked the part numbers for the CB400, 500, 550, Nighthawk and all of them have the same part for the banjo bolt. I think this is all I would need to check to make sure the MC will work.

This is another possibility:

My plan is to use this MC with R6 controls and throttle on my bars.

Several of us have MC from USA Motorcycles on ebay and they work great. And if there is a problem the seller is quick to solve it.

I've been using Kawasaki GPZ master cylinders for years

I put one on my lads 81 CX too.

1 for 1 fit, All alloy with sight glass and no rusty circlip to try

and pick out when you need to renovate the seals.

Its just lever off, pinch plastic clip and its out

Damn that's cheap. Which one did you get?

I'm a buy it now person. I tried to win about 30 of their auctions under $50 and failed. Then said screw it and hit up the buy it now.

They list the info for every MC they sell, and the one for the CX500 had these exact same specs with the exception of the angled reservior and the piston bore being 12.7mm as opposed to 14 mm.

The one he had listed for the CX500 was listed for $50 with $12 in shipping. Just about every single MC that was available have the below measurements. I figured since the stats were pretty much the same, and based on the feedback from other members, this seemed like the right one to get.

I am a huge fan of buy it now, but I didn't want to fork out an additional $20-$30 to justify an impulse to get the same thing. The pictures between all of the available MC's are either the angled reservoir or the rectangle.

For whatever reason I had no difficulty on the bid. I tried for one, and was outbidded immediately. I then found a different one up for auction, but had the same measurements and placed a bid on it. No one even tried to bid.

Also, I got a tracking number already. I paid for it immediately, and less than 3 hours later it is prepared to be shipped.

I've seen those and may go for one at a later date. They also have a ,"Dog-Leg" lever which is like my,"Power Levers",

(Must be matched to MC type)

I can't see if they have a front brake switch but I fitted an hydraulic one on one of my CX,

The very first pic of the chrome MC is coming out of Hong Kong. I like the design and chrome on it. Would look good on the gl650i.
