ok that looks good is there a nut that holds it in place?? and i am surprised you didnt mount it in the left side

When ya buy the adapter it will come will a housing that screws on and then also it will have a l bracket mount unscrew and remove l bracket. mine i needed a 7/8" forstner bit to drill the hole. double check your size then put the adaptor through the hole put the cover on screw it in wire and away ya go. and its water proof

I wanted to mount it there on the left side but the battery and a host of other things was in the way so that was out but right side it sits just next to the air box and its out of the way when something plugs it no interference with the legs either it,s tucked away pretty good. works well for me..

hmm i am going to look at other places to mount it maybe on the bars

Good idea but seems like a stretch for the gps. But then again on a bike without a fairing it's harder to hide wiring and other junk.
