I was recently gifted panniers to be used as saddlebags and had a hard time attaching them. I was concerned they would burn up if too close to the exhaust pipe or get sucked into the rear wheel at highway speeds. Does this look strange?

I have both l/r hard saddle bags, trunk, backrest, Hondaline front fairing and all the

mounts. But...I am on the Kentucky/Tennessee border. Paint looks good from 10 feet and you can fit a full size helmet in the trunk.

Sory in the delay in replying. Down side. I am in Canada. Winnipeg to be exact. I do pickup at a pembina parcel service in pembina north dakota. That would be a problem to ship? That's a bit o work. I do have a question about the bags and it's brackets and hardware. They are Hondaline? The reflectors go not look like Hondaline. They're not shoeis or other? They of course would have a tag on the inner lid on both bags.

 

They are honda line bags and a real pain in the neck to find. I have only seen two sets in the wild and bought one.

I see he has them on a cx500 c bike with means the brackets he has will only fit easily on the Custom model due to the position that the brackets attach to the shock mount. But it's really easy to modify them to fit a deluxe/standard if needed.

 

i am aware as to what they will not fit. just concerned if we were to crack a deal i want to know what I am buying. hondaline is what i am looking for. thanks your the reply tho.

holy cow i think i screwed up my reply to you. i thought i was replying to you but i was not. then i realized the names had changed....my apologies if this is becoming repetitive.
You got the bags? Are they Hondaline? Not to question but they look a bit like Shoei's with the rest from what I can see being pretty accurate. The reflectors must have been changed out?? Are the decals still inside the lids x 2? Is the trunk Hondaline as well? I am in Canada. I ship all to Pembina Parcel in North Dakota. Were thees ever busted up? are they still available? what would you like to see for them? would you box em and ship em. its a lot of work maybe for you. Finally how would I pay you. same question to all of those who pick up on this thread that are considering selling the bags and brackets.

 

I will send a picture of the inside of the lids for ya later this evening or perhaps Sunday.
They show signs of use but are serviceable.

so apparently technology has surpassed my neaderthal abilities. The bags do have the yellow Hondaline sticker inside the lids. But I cannot upload pic in Tapatalk via my phone.

If you get that opportunity to upload in a different manner don't hesitate. Do the reflectors say honda. It may be the image. The bags look very much alike. But shoei made as well as others made similar in design. I have two sets of shoei's right now. NOS. with the brackets. They are in premium shape. The one set the larger of the two have scuffs from storage. But one could buff them out. I'll post them sooner than later. Anyhow when you get to it that'd be great. Remember tho. If we move forward, just to be clear, I do live in Canada and would need them shipped to North Dakota.
