I took my bike out today and noticed my left fork is leaking oil out the top. I assume this means I need to put a new seal in, but I was wondering if there was anything else I should change out while I'm in there so I can order the parts now.

..Unless you wanted to install those 1/2" pvc couplers. That puts "new" life in 30 year old springs.

Once you remove all parts from the forks inspect them, if you look in a thread I just did mine and within that post there is a post that has link to repair manual and Shep and a few other people have info on fork repair also best advice measure the springs and make sure everything is clean I used engine degreaser and carb cleaner to remove any funk. Oh one more thing make sure the PO before you did not put seals and springs in upside down as was in my case besides that cut and dry so to say
