1982 turbo

Starting to ride it quite a bit now, very pleased. There is a small cover aft of the big stator cover. I have a leak there. I have tighted the bolts as much as I dare. Who ever did it looks like they used copper gaskets and a electrosport stator. I almost think I can get it off by removing the starter and maybe the coolant tank. Is this possible?

Are the caliper piston unique to the turbo or what will owrk. Cleaned them up but looke like the pitting is causing a leak on one.

CPT, The caliper pistons should be 30mm diameter, and they are basically common to all twin-piston calipers on all CX and GL500s after 1981, and all GL650s.

Beware that some people "upgrade" their braking systems by using the 32mm caliper piston twin-piston units from CB900s - gives you about 15% more brake-pad pressure for the same lever effort.
