I would leave it. There has to be a reason for the impression. If anything that's where you can put a polished metal piece that says 1 of 1 LRCXed.

That's where my cheese grater went. Had one walk away from my tool box and there's no reason so I made due with better squeegee work. Add that to the list of stuff I should get.

I do agree with you about the flexing but what about fine kitty hair fiberglass bondo. Ever have that lift and contract on you? Either way the best answer is if you're going to spend the money do it right in the first place.

Those zesters are pretty expensive in the right stores. But the reason for the cheese grater is the curve in it allows you to take off as little or as much body filler as you can in a short time. And when I say short I mean short. You get the filler on and as it's still tacky you sculpt away. Maybe a 10 minute window before it's to hard and you are left with the sander to finish the job.

Guess now I know what I can spend my 25% Harbor Freight Memorial Day Coupon on.

I saw a preview of the tank and rear fender and it looks pretty good. I didn't think the bike was going to be that silver.

What I'm hoping is he didn't stick those on but I think he did. So maybe he can pull out a heat gun and make it easier to release the adhesive.

I did all but call him hoping I could catch him.

Messaged here, Emailed, Texted (hope that's a cell phone), and saw he was idle on msn and messaged him.

lol

Next thing it will be on the Discovery Channel....

I figured he would start small with the Hallmark Channel. Maybe a story about a middle aged man regaining his youth one bike at a time in search of that 79 deluxe that was lost to him when he wore a younger mans cloths.

Just means i'm going to have to get my fix of Larry signed parts before the discover channel finds him. I hear he's even thinking of a 6 1/2 gallon cx650 tank. No I couldn't do that to you or myself.

True, but do you really want a 32 year old "kid" still living with you?!? LOL

I work with a guy who just turned 32 this week and still lives with his parents. I hope that bike has a big comic book collection.
