I just got some of my parts back from the painter for my gl500i and its colour is very similar to yours larry. I searched the net and could not find anything on gl500 colour schemmes anywhere ,so the painter contacted honda direct and the bloke laughed when he mentioned a 30 year old bike...so we got something close from the colour swatches and its a pearl based blue,no metalic but it looks pretty good.
