I am in the process of rebuilding the carbs for my 79 CX500. I am cleaning the carbs following Larry's Guide. This has been an excellent resource for the project. I had to revert to page 40 for removing the main jet/emulsion tubes. This process destroys the tube while taking them out. After doing this for both carbs I then tried to find new or used emulsion tubes. I have not been able to locate any, I tried to email Larry but did not receive a response back. Does anyone from this forum know where I could get a pair of emulsion tubes so that I can ride my project motorcycle in the near future. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

But some are press in and some are screw in.



Just so everybody knows page 40 is a worst case scenario where you have to drill out the tube.

I was looking over this and they don't seem to have the long main emulsion tube. They have the slow jet (shorter) and the jets themselves but not the long main emulsion tube.
