this month is when i do a pre-summer service.[as i expect most of you guys are].....

something interesting, while back blowing the airfilter,using a high pressure air gun.....how little air comes through the filter walls.i can see now why so many people swopping out the air filter run into so many problems....it must create quite a back pressure/resistance.

anyway,thats all i was going to say....

Yes there are a little over efficient IMHO but then they are tied into the Constant velocity carburation system

I have run without one but had to adjust the mixture loads so went back to using one.

Shep,living by the sea,no way would i run without an airfilter.i recipe for disaster.sand is an great killer of engines.

BTW.2 days working on my bike,wow,so different,you forget,when it gradually appears,air leaks,stiff cables......so crisp to night
