A while ago I asked if anyone knew where to find a replacement windshield for my fairing.

This is what I found and wonder if it is the right one.

I believe the VETTER windhield mounting pattern is the same for the vetter , I, II, III, IV, and SS... etc.

make sure th select the one with vetter in the title. ..



also for general info, if you have a damaged vetter, most model vetter fairings have the same fairing to mount pattern...

the supplied mount on your bike is specific.

IDK, it is the same fairing as appears on your old avatar pic.

If you have the early '80s Hondaline fairing, like from a GL500i, installed then search online sites using the Gold Wing category, then look under '80 to '83 GL1100. The Hondaline fairing was available for GL1100, GL500, GL650 etc... 1980 to 83, the same windshield will fit them all.

The Hondaline is very different than a Vetter windshield, and the GL1200 windshield is different than the GL1100 fairing, so make sure you get the right one. The JC Whitney site seems to imply that the GL1100 and GL1200 windshields are the same? They are NOT.



A year or so ago JC Whitney implemented a new website and search engine, I think it is terrible and I have since taken my business to other sites where it is easier to find what I am looking for.

There is no doubt about what it fits.
