LOCATION: Zeager's Mountain View Camp, Lewisburg, PA. Off I-80 Exit 210 (US-15 S). Directions from I-80



LODGING: $10/night



FEAST: $15 for Holly's PA Dutch Meal (Saturday 6pm). Mail her a money order, preferably by August 14: Holly Cardell, 3416 Snydertown Rd, Snydertown, PA 17877

A word of advice for any newbies to the Amish. If you are arriving at night, be very careful riding from West Milton to the rally site. There are more than enough deer to feed the group for years if you ride fast!

Good point David. I did arrive after dark last year and took it easy on those roads...

I think we all had to create new logins from what I understand. At least most of us can register with the same user names that we had on the old board, that way we recognize each other.

Well, its going to take a little getting used to! WW, I didn't mean to quote you but thats OK, because you are correct, we all have to re-register. I am trying to find some way to show latest post first, I hate to go through all the posts each time I go into a thread.

DavidF, I suggest you restart your thread regarding your route up to the Amish. I am still planning on trying to catch you on Wednesday evening, I will be in my pick-up with the 650 on a carrier.

Phil, let me say this about that. You have not been a "newbie" for over 72 years now! After a tour in the army, then the navy and then retiring from the post office anyone who calls you anything should be very careful, going postal is not to be taken lightly.

Phil, what I am afraid of is that he is going to bring her to the rally and she will eat up all the veggies! BTW I had been able to acquire the very same picture some time ago and my sources had told me it was Rich (in stealth Amish mode) and his new BFF. I didn't want to publish it and ruin his plans but now it looks like he is out in the open!

The hat & goggles make it hard but if you look close you can tell its Rich.



BTW scuttlebutt has it that Rich is thinking of this as Daisy's first bike.

However, he is concerned it may not be big enough and is also considering this bike.

He does realize that he may have to shoot the present owners.

I just caught up with this "new improved" web site. I'll see you folks in PA on Thursday. I'll bring the customary Yuengling on ice. I can hand out my cell # of others of you will be taking the same route through CT... should you need help or a lift along the way, I'll cart my bike on my old pickup. - Russ in Danbury, CT

As I have said I will be in my truck with the 650 hanging off the rear and will try to catch you on Wednesday night for the final assault on the campground! There, we are back on track!

Well since they erased all the old stuff i need another count of who is coming and who sent money i have it written down but i want to make sure that i didnt forget anyone. or that someone posted it and i didnt get to see it before the total make over..... Hey Holly, I don't know if I'll be making the rally after all... I dumped the bike yesterday and I'm not sure if I'll have it rideable by the time the rally comes around... Lets just say that if I do make it down, I'll bring the cash with me... sound ok with you?

I will be sending money shortly. Is a personal check OK or would you prefer cash? I don't know if I can come but if I don't just use my payment for a last minute arrival or for whatever.



Pete or whoever is responsible for Saturday's events. I can't come on Friday so I'll be riding down early on Saturday AM. What time do things start so I can leave early enough to arrive on time. I expect about a 3 hr ride from Ithaca, NY. Leaving by 6 AM is no problem for me since I'm usually up by 5 AM anyway.
