So that I don't have to open up my tail/stop light assembly until they get here just to count them I was wondering if someone can tell me how many sets of 2 bulbs (which is how these are sold) I need to order to replace the tail light and the brake light ?

Yes I'm lazy...but why open it twice if I don't have to ?

The thing is I made a bet with my wife this morning, she bet that I could NOT go a day without stepping foot into the garage today....she's been watching me like a HAWK all day....

HOWEVER she just fell asleep on the couch watching "Mouse Hunt" with the kids so it's time to SNEAK on out there !

When ever I'm out here in the garage working hard and I want a break, I sit down and browse a bit. Rick, when I see ANY post put up by you I KNOW I'm in for a good laugh! This one didn't disapoint!

Hay rick, remember, your wife HAS come to the computer screen before I'm sure. Better IGNORE this post TOO! LMAO

The question is now that you know you need two bulbs how many LED's are you going to get. I think mine have 24 each.

What I find odd is that they could have easily used one running, and one brake light. Would have been cheaper even when using bigger bulbs, and worked just as well.

With 2 dual lights, if one filament goes - your tail AND stop lights still work! So this is a safety feature.

For a couple cents more why not have dual filaments. It would have only saved them the length of wire.

But with the LED Lights especially the 36 bulbs All 36 have to die on one bulb to not get light but with another 36 right next door there isn't anything to worry about.

They will work. They are just a natural progression from earlier designs.LED stop tail bulbs not only come on faster, use less current if one of the small LEDs blow, and because they are configured electrically in parallel, all the other LEDS will continue to work so you probably wouldn't even notice it.

They now even have H4 LED Bulbs but I don't know if they are good enough for headlights yet,

Coming from china means nothing to me as the ones you linked may not be in china right now but were probably made there.

Just means 2 weeks shipping. Some of us have probably waited longer for a brake line.
