Hi, I want to deglaze the cylinders of my cx500 for new rings
I believe it requires a ball hone
Is 240 grit okay?
Which is better: 3-1/4'' or 3-1/2'' diameter ?

I've asked Murray this question a while ago. 240 is right. If you're only doing one engine, 3" is fine. If you want to carry on and do other engines (multiple) then 3 1/4" is what you want.He also recommends a spray bottle with diesel to spray the cylinder while you're honing.
