I am wanting to restore my bike back to stock as close as I can and I was wondering if someone on here could decode my V.I.N. the VIN is PC01-2102287. I am somewhat familiar with car VIN numbers and I know they have information about original paint color, but seeing how a cx500 is my first bike, i know almost nothing about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced.

Hi Joe!!

Welcome to the group.

If you look at the steering head (top of the front forks), behind where the head light is, there should be a plate attached there that will tell you what year it is and model.
