I had it running beautiful when I fueled up add some sea foam to give the valves a clean and now idle is 5k.
Twist throttle bike revs further seams to run well aside from this any thoughts? :confused:Starts well moves well but out of control idle. Difficult to control speed in town with out dragging brake.:dontknow:

I'd start with the basics, check for vacuum leaks in the carb to engine boots and check that the throttle/choke cables are operating correctly. Have you had the carbs torn apart?

check to see that your throttle cable is not hanging up. If you bump the throttle will it the idle drop?

I was working on Eccles a while ago and when I fired it up afterward the idle was extremely high. It turned out that I had moved the throttle cable and dislodged its sheath from the cup on the adjuster where it normally sits. I popped it back in and it idled normally again.
