If anyone has found a decent material to use for the gasket material on the heat shield can you please post the brand name or the part number where you bought it and any other information that would help in obtaining it

I have seen a few examples on this forum that look nice, but when I go into an auto parts store I cannot seem to locate a decent material that would work I have asked for high temp gaskets sheets and I have asked for normal gaskets sheets but none of stuff they have given me I am satisfied with

any assistance would be appreciated.

Are people using hi temp material around the turbo? Those sheets are very expensive and seem to come in only a one square foot piece

Hi
I used heat resistsnt silicone on the heat sheild joints instead of gasket material. It looks good and works well.
I also used self adhesive 6mm Hi temp sheet inside the fairing on the exhaust side to protect the exteior painwork .
Hope this helps and good luck.

For heat shield inside the fairing you would have better luck at a store that supplies autobody repair shops.
