i have a 1980 cx500c. i am planning on using a 2005 gsxr frontend. i already have it and was wondering if anyone else has done this. so what i am getting at is that i need to know the bearing and race size's that will work for this conversion. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys and gals...

If the stem lengths are same or the GSXR stem is a bit longer you should be good, I cannot provide a step by step and it may require a bit of trial and error. Once you know this, you can get your head bearings here:

Use a Honda front end. F2-F4 work the best with the F4 having full adjustable suspension. Even the ignition key fits on the tripple clamp. The comsatar can be made to fit the larger axle by swaping out the bearings and the spacers. Brake calipers can be mounted with brackets or if you have a machine shop make the spacers and use the F4 disks.
