Im upgrading my headlight the new headlight only has two wires but the factory headlight wire harness has three wires i need to know what wires are the high beam low beam im getting the headlight to turn on but wont change from high to low and its bugging me please help thanks

worried this is a troll because there is no information on what kinda bike but i'll give it a shot.



is the light case grounded? i don't understand how it can only have 2 prongs and a high beam. also a simple test light will tell you which is which.

Well it's a cx500 custom and the light gets a lot brighter when the case is grounded but only the high beam works but if I hook up the old headlight both work thanks

If you can show us a picture of it or a link to where you got it that would help. Normally wires retain the same colors. There may be a big chance that you got a single beam light. Or it really does ground off the bucket.

yea the low beam sensor wasnt working refitted a new one and he was golden??
