I know how it feels, I find myself just staring at my bikes when I cant move forward with any work....my fiance thinks Im obsessed

I never disagree....

Hopefully I can get mine back on the road and around town in the next couple weeks. Carb rebuild, new gauges and a new battery and I'm up and running from a few weeks ago when I got my CX in a box.

Hope you get yours running soon.....

We have the joke over here about the British postal service. We reckon they wait around the corner for you to go out, then slip a note through your letterbox saying they couldn't deliver because you weren't in

I know that feeling. Maybe they will come back in a half hour. Seen that too.

I spent the last 4 hours loading those trucks just to rush home to get my package just to have a scribbled note on my door that was a trick to decipher. I guess my package is at the office and of course it's closed.

Bummer. Good one Dakota. That's how my dogs feel anytime we go to the car. They think they are going for a ride, but it doesn't happen as often as they'd like. It's also the way I'm feeling about riding weather.

Do they have rules saying you can't pull your own packages aside? That should be a perk to the job in my opinion.

They won't hold a package for me until a delivery attempt has been made.

I tried to have them hold the new camera I got and had to go through so much crap and they still tried to attempt delivery and then I could pick it up the next day at work.

What do they not understand about "I can't be there to get my package because I'm here working".

As with most things, it's all in who ya know. I have a great relationship with our both of our mail carriers. Mostly because I keep our box and the neighbors free of snow through the winter (and spring, lol). So they leave packages on our front porch when we are not home.

The mail man is a different story. He leave just about everything for me and if for some reason I know there's a package coming and I have to be at work I can catch him a half mile down the road and pick it up.

When you're expecting a package and know you're not going to be home just leave a note on the door that refers to the package you're expecting saying "SIGNATURE WAIVED" !

That might work in Missouri but not here. I have left notes saying everything. So far as even giving the office power to sign for me and having it in the shipping instructions and in most cases they leave a post it saying signature required and take it to work.

Yea, I'm down to painting and getting those fan controllers manufactured. Spending almost the entire month in the hospital situation put another kink in me getting these things finalized.

I hate paint prep, to do it right takes a lot of time. Only one tiny worn indentation in one of the side covers I've got to fill and I need to finish super-fine sanding the sides and stripping/priming the tank. I've stripped to metal and etch primed the bottom but haven't done a thing to the main body of the tank, it takes a while to strip that tough paint down to bare metal.
