I would really like to add some gauges to a coupla bikes..... but as usual space is at a premium. Seems to me that a multi function single face guage would be the way to go - just can't find a source. Surely this is not an original idea....... In a perfect world you could select what functions you wanted and order the unit. Or better yet just program the unit to do what ya needed. Theres probably an IPod app for this! Anybody know?

Ive been looking for the same thing. Does anyone have recommendations between the Acewell and TrailTech? The trailtech looks a bit cheaper and still has most of the same functions, if not more. However the trailtech looks like it could be a bit bulky looking compared to the smaller Acewell. Does anyone have any pictures of the trailtech computer on your bike? That would be nice to see what it would actually look like on one of our bikes. Thanks guys

I stole this picture from one Phoenix Blaze. This is his vapor.

Note that it is sitting on top of a stock speedo.

Whats really cool is it has two programmable shift lights, so you dont have to look too close for the tach, and I believe the speedo is big enough.

I'm looking for things like Voltage, Air Temp (Road surface temp would be cool too), Clock, Oil Temp, Compass....

Pretty much all the things that a typical bike does not come with. I've got stock Tach, Speedo and Engine Temp.

I'll check out the sites listed above............

Air shock pressures would be nice to monitor too. Just look at a gauge instead of dragging everything out and pulling covers.

And the front shocks hold such a small volume of air at such a low pressure that checking them changes the pressure considerably.

I've actually bought gauges for this already but never plumbed them in.

Looks like "Dakota Digital" makes what I'm looking for - pricey though......

So far everything I've found is either $29 junk or several hundred $$!.

A happy medium would be nice..........

Due to costs I'll prob end up adding 1 or 2 things.

Volt meters have kept me from ending up stranded a time or two.

That round one doesn't really offer much for the price.

Your choice of either Fuel Level or Air Pressure.

The trailtech striker seems to have all or almost all the options you want for $129.

And you could hook it up as your speedo and tach or probably run it along with your current gauges in your fairing.

Interesting the Striker doesn't have a Tach. Who is it here that is the whiz with the electronics design? I wonder if he could devise some mod's to some of these units for special adaptations?

I'm not a fan of the multifunctions with so much going on. I suppose after time you would know right where to look, but gotta tell ya, my eyes like being on the road, not searching for a read out. That being said, I think the Acewell are the best blend of modern/classic look with multifunction I've seen. Of course, doesn't sound as if it would meet your needs with air temp, etc.
