I have a 1979 CX500 and I have just aquired a GL650 silverwing interstate,

The silver wing looks very very low compared to my 1979 CX500

Why I think something is wrong:
with the cx500 the rear wheel is still grounding slightly when on the center stand, I suspect the rear shocks on the CX500 are too long. Does anyone know the correct dimensions for these shocks.

with the GL650 I have to rock the bike to the right to deploy the side stand and when on the centre stand the rear wheel is miles off the ground. plus it takes some effort to put it on the centre stand. I am wandering if the rear suspension has been creativly assembled. Any Ideas and what height should each bike be from the ground to the sump, and what dimensions/componets should I check.
