Has anyone put on an extra light on the trunk extender? (Pictures of your setup or specific part numbers greatly appreciated.) Or do most people think that the existing light is visible enough to the cagers? With the Oregon rain coming I'm thinking of ways to increase my visibility out there.

If you had 30 extra lights it still wouldn't be enough for some morons who shouldn't have licenses.



I have Led light bulbs in my brake light. Cant remember if I have ones with 24 individual leds or 36. I bet it would be easy to find a small unit that you could mount under the rear box.



Are you thinking of all time lights or just lights for more visibility at night.

I`m mostly just thinking of adding another light mounted on the extender. Maybe a little LED module. Has anyone done something similar?

I saw an ugly one once with trailer style red lights mounted in every spot possible around it so yes it's possible.



It looked similar to how this does with the amber lights.

I had one on my extender before I took it off the bike. I made the mount out of black plexglass, and used an LED light from Wallyworld. Looked god too.......

Here's one on my bike. A light bar was fabricated using a piece of scrap angle iron. The two marker lights contain high intensity LEDs wired into the tail light and brake light circuits.
