I have an 82' GL500 and I just replaced the brakes on both calipers. I went to bleed them on both ends and I am getting nothing coming out of them. I have bled each one for about 30min each and I am getting nothing coming out. I check the master cylinder and I am not showing the fluid level dropping. What could be the issue?

Is the MC main Banjo Bolt located next to the handle bars by the MC or is it location down further?
the banjo bolt is further down, its an odd bolt, but very clever.

you have it located at the caliper, and two more at the splitter

The MC banjo bolt is attached to the MC but Try this 1st,

Top up MC and with a one-way bleed system on the right hand bleed nipple and it open.

Spit on your hand or if not allergic smear some clean brake fluid on it and press onto the top of the MC to form a seal.

Pump the lever smoothly a few times. After a few squeezes you should get fluid squirting through.
