To those that have painted the gas tank, did you put the graphics in before the clear coat or on top of the clear coat?

Before. Both painted and decal graphics under the clearcoat.

Under the clear coat.

Be sure to use a product that is compatible with the color. Otherwise, you could be open to all sorts of trouble.

Fuel resistant is mandatory.
