I started the CX last night for the first time ever. It fired right up but almost instantly there was a puddle of gas underneath. Not good. It was wet all around the float bowls but it seemed to be coming from somewhere higher. I'm not sure where.

How about that pipe the gas line goes to and then splits to the carbs? Anyone have that leak?

Yes that pipe can leak. It has two orings on it. One on each side and is ment to wiggle a bit. If the orings fail then you have a leak.

maybe if you take the tank off and run the bike from a auxiliary fuel tank like that on a push mower you will be able to see the leak and catch it in the act.
