the difference is, your stock petcock is vacuum operated, and the one on your new tank is not. You can switch the tanks, just make sure to plug the 45° spigot/tube on your carb body. Also, check, if you have a tank screen inside the new tank.

His Petcock has a Vacum line... hook it up the larger of the two that is coming from the right carb intake (vac) the other is the vent line...
The only "stupid" questions are the ones not asked... There is a search function here, I did it myself... but that's no fun![]()
Well afgter four trys... screw this! you will either have to search for "petcock" or wait for another forum member... sorry![]()
