Hi guys,
So I just finished rebuilding my '79 CX500. This included going through and performing a full factory service, cleaning very well, and rebuilding the carbs. To my lovely surprise the bike started on the first half crank and sounded great. It idled a bit fast but that's not a huge problem.
That said I noticed right away that both carbs were leaking from the brass fuel rail. So the question I have is 1) should I try and locate new o-rings for it? If so, what size, or 2) should I try and convert the fuel delivery system to something else? If so, what?
Thanks again guys!
