Hello all!
I have an 81 GL500 that is leaking fuel out of a the end of a hose that comes off the back side (opposite of the selector valve) of the Petcock. Any idea how to fix or where to get parts or do I need a new petcock?

The diaphragm has a tear allowing fuel to exit by the drain. The diaphragm is available if you want to repair the vacuum operation of the petcock. The vacuum operation can be disabled by connecting the drain barb to the vacuum barb and blocking off the vacuum hose at the carb. Be aware that if you disable the vacuum operation this way and one end of the hose comes loose fuel will be dropping down onto your engine and exhaust system.

get a new petcock they are generally less than $20

If you buy the one I did, you'll need to flip the diaphragm cover so the vacuum nipple is toward the back.
