Rebuilt the rear switch & got her working just fine. Now that I am working out the little electrical issues, cleaning contacts, checking bulbs, etc, how do I clean the Front Brake Light Switch, where is it located, etc; I didn't really see anything after searching the forum for nearly 45 minutes. I am thinking it is either a bad ground due to corrosion, or dirty contactors in the switch. Maybe something else? Thanks in advance all!

had the kiddies for nearly the whole weekend while the wife was about doing her errands and such; did get about a half hour to play with the bike and found one of the wires to have been severly corroded and broken. Further review showed the banjo fitting on the MC was quite crusty, and I think the fluie ate away the wire insulation, elements took care of the rest...will have time throughout the week to look at it further, but thanks for the tips guys!

well it turned out that the culprit was a broken wire at the plug. Just touched the busted lead to the terminal and applied the brakes and bingo--light and switch work just fine. The broken wire was concealed under the plug boot.
