having some strangeness with my blinkers (front)

they need to double as running lights, right?



I have them wired so that they are "always on" when the bike's on, and blink when corresponding turn is activated. However - is the "other" light supposed to shut off while the one is blinking?

example :

1) they are both on

2) hit LEFT turn signal

3) LEFT turn signal lights (both front and back) start blinking

4) BUT - RIGHT (front only) shuts off.



any suggestion here?

according to the wiring schematic It does.



*edit* it does as in the way you describe it works currently is correct. when the blinkers are on, the opposite front blinker totally shuts off.

I can't. Because mine don't function as running lights no matter how I wire them. I gave up. Whatever.

how come man? there should be 2 random female wires coming from the wire harness. one is orange (left front blinker) one is blue (right front) then ground. The other hot goes to the double orange or blue
