Unless your CDI was just *that* bad and you tuned everything else to compensate for it. I think I had to change my idle mixture a bit, though I can't quite recall.



Though 99.9% of the time, no, just plug and play and you're good.

As said above, these things are pretty much plug and play but I would still tweak the mixture screws.



Any tune up always ends with the carbs after everything else has been set as every other adjustment [timing etc.] has some affect on carburretion.
