According to the FSM, it should be 135cc to 140cc in the '78, as well.
Use 20wt fork oil, rather than the stock ATF. It will firm up the front end a little.

But now that you've been spinning it around, you've deformed the crush washer, and it will probably leak. You'll need to get that bolt out, anneal or replace the washer, and reassemble.its ok, i didnt think of pulling down on the forks to make sure that they where fully extended. so if i just take the fork off and dump the fluid from the top that would work?
