Merry Christmas, All!

I'm wondering if anyone has ever replaced their fork crossover tube with something more attractive? Not sure if they're all like this, but mine's really long for the gap and it has a big bend/loop in it. Would be nice to replace it with something that's closer to the width so it doesn't have to bend like that. Is that even a thing?

The Euro sports have separate valves /fork.

I always advise eliminating the hose altogether. It is there so that you only have to check the air pressure once but with the forks connected like that if one seal fails you lose pressure in both legs and the front end will collapse
I found out what that was like when I hit a pothole on the GL500 I had at the time and a 1 year old seal let go and I still remember what the ride home was like 2 decades later.
I got rid of that tube as soon as I could.

The effect will be even worse with the clamps lowered on the forks like you have.

Both my Hondas have air forks but I find no added air to be necessary if forks are clean inside, tight seals, and fresh synthetic ATF. The 500s I had with crossover tubes were the worst ever for oil change etc. Single air caps or no air will work as long as diameter of tube is same. Honda parts from many bikes will work.😊

Actually there are at least 2 thread pitches for some fork diameters.

Honda recommends 11-17 PSI in the front forks. If you don't add pressure AND have not added preload spacers the forks will bottom a lot.

I don’t bother with air pressure in my CX500 Euro forks; it basically provides an element of preload, and instead I’ve put 12mm of nylon washers in for preload and that works nicely with my Hagon p-springs. Gives a ride ever so slightly firm, but that’s what how I like it.
