having trouble finding some nice aftermarket foot rests. I'd like to replace the entire rest, bracket included. Was hoping someone could point me to some which have the bracket so they can fold up. the bracket would also need to have a hold in it for the bolt (onto frame)



any suggestions?

not sure if ud be into this but i switched the passenger pegs to the front pegs. they were in better condition and also fold up.

Are the frames the same? I think the '82 E had rear disc no?

Yes, rear disc. Pro-Link as well. A little pricey for a try it and see, for me anyway.

I have seen those on another site but im not sure of the fitment other wise I would buy them today.....

Was hoping for some simple pegs, around $50...tops.

I guess I can keep hunting on ebay.

These are sweet though, they actually move the pegs back on the bike a little. Atleast thats my understanding....

Technically, I can just get pegs with the right bolt size on the end, or just nut any pegs with a bolt into the frame. they don't have to fold up, right?

They only need to fold if your brave/crazy enough to lean that far.

Hitting a peg around a corner that doesnt fold is effing scary!
